Enjoying it's exceptional location in les Arcs-sur-Argens (30 minutes from Saint-Tropez and of Cannes) on the Côte d'Azur, Château Sainte Roseline is one of the most renounded wine estates of Provence. The prestigious wine estate and unique domaine both Site and Cru Classé, Château Sainte Roseline is a part of the rare A.O.P sides of Provence « Cru Classé » since 1955 (creation date and designation Cru Classé). We produce organic, fine and ballanced wines available in the three colors : rosé, white and red.
Aurélie Bertin took back the direction of this family estate in 2007 and infused it with her dynamism, her modern vision and oenotourism of the rather traditional and artisanal job of the vigneron, her perfectionism and evedently her femininity.
Château Sainte Roseline, a pioneer in CSR, places sustainable development at the heart of its commitments. Every action taken by the estate takes into account its environmental, economic and social impact. Awarded the Vignerons Engagés Label, the wine industry's first CSR label and ISO26000 certification by AFNOR.
Lampe de Méduse, with it's quite perticular shape, is the historic and iconic curve of the house. Since 1950, she reprisents the heart of the production of our property wines. The bottle is the fruit of the reflexion of the Baroness de Rasque de Laval. This rosé benifits from two prestigious appellations : AOP côtes de Provence and Cru Classé.
Vinification & grape varieties
Harvest carried out using a conveyor belt, thus avoiding any damage to the berries, then carefully sorted and destemmed. Cold stabilization grape by grape for 10 days. Temperatures maintained at 16°C throughout the alcoholic fermentation, which lasts about ten days. Aging on fine lees with regular stirring.
Grape variety: Grenache 36%, Cinsault 28%, Mourvèdre 20%, Tibouren 9%, Syrah 2%, Carignan 3%, Caladoc 1%, Rolle 1%.
Tasting
Pale pink robe, slightly salmon-colored, with great clarity. A delicate nose exuding subtle notes of white flowers (jasmine) and roses, intertwined with fruity notes. The palate is intense, marked by a lively attack, balancing freshness and roundness. An elegant and mineral rosé wine with a beautiful balance.
